I didn’t see the bike cop but the description said it on the citation. Either on the other side or on the street on Race. Took him awhile to get to me I was at the light before going onto the 14 freeway and pulled me over at the gas station.

The bridge past valley center drive and bouquet canyon road. Cops line the bike path while one officer does radar at night. During the day, an officer usually waits in a turnout just after a slight bend. It’s hard to spot them because of the road elevation and curvature of the road. Speed limit is 50 on the bridge and increases to 55. It’s easy to go 60+ on this road cause it is 3 lanes wide.

Especially Northbound, CHP sets up right side of freeway on dirt shoulder just past Valencia exit as freeway grade decends and speeds tend to increase.
They favor nighttime when most difficult to spot and quickly pullover speeders off Magic Mountain exit.

Sheriffs and Highway Patrol hide about halfway down the hill.
