Heading south on 101 about 1 mile past Calpella exit. CHP officers sit on the on ramp. CHP plane flying over head radios to officer on on ramp.
This illegal as per vehicle codes of California. Already beat 2 tickets.
US Highway 101 near Burke Hill Road
The officer sits at the top of the overpass at this exit and Cox Shrader (the exit to the north). At this exit, you are coming downhill and he clocks you. They have No Mercyh! Not even for crying girls! Anywhere between here and Hopland, Northbound or Southbound, don’t even think about going more than 5 MPH over the limit!
State Highway 20 near Mile Marker MPM39.00
SR-20, Buffalo Ranch, After Lake Mendocino, moving toward Upper Lake. This is a route with varied speeds, mostly 55MPH. The road is clearly in the open on a long downgrade. The patrolman was in a group of cars going up the hill, hidden, picking off cars with radar. It’s easy to drift over the 55 MPH limit if you are not very careful.
