On Fruitvale Road between Dobbins and Orchard. A cycle cop hides in the shade. Sometimes the cycle is on the right side of the street and sometimes on the left side of the street.

Motorcycle officer sits in shade and catches those coming from Pleasants Valley Road driving downhill to Alamo.

The CHP and VPD sit just off the freeway and use radar on and off the freeway to passsers by. They actually are not on the freeway, but back by about 10 to 20 yards. (Note: They are not on the freeway at all.)

A rare but definite speed trap is to catch vehicles turning right onto Allison Drive at a No Right On Red light. However, the motorcycle officer sits in fairly plain view to your right between Allison Drive and the I-80 East on-ramp.
