Yorba Linda, California Speed Traps

Motor Officer parks in the Montessori School parking lot behind a tree/bush with only his front tire visible. He writes at any speed over the posted 40 mph limit as he is parked at the bottom of a rather steep hill giving him access to your down hill inertia.

One or two motorcycle cops sit on the corner of Yorba Linda Blvd. and Ave De Las Estrellas (between Village Center and Paseo De Las Palomas) on the south side of Yorba Linda Blvd. The cops will pull you over for speeding and they are also watching for people making illegal left turns out of the Vons center onto Yorba Linda Blvd.

When coming down Yorba Linda BLVD headed toward La Palma/Savi Ranch. I have seen Motorcycle cops sit in the center divider in front of Travis Ranch Middle School. He is aiming at people right as they come over atop the hill and enter the school zone. Radar Detector users be warned there is a stationary RADAR sign there that will send of warnings as well so don’t ignore those.
