Motorcycle cops will sit near the car wash on the east side of murray at the intersection of Platte and Murray — their ‘sidekicks’ will sit at the gas station on the west side of murray — the cop at the car wash will clock ya then radio to the cop at the gas station – – they will also getcha if ya dont come to a COMPLETE stop turning west onto platte from Murray….watch out for this!

Chelton Boulevard near Airport and Chelton Avenue

The police use mostly cars. They can be found in the parking lot of the church at Airport and Chelton. The area concerned is between Airport and Fountain on Chelton. Most of the traffic in this area drive above the limit here. Catching speeders here is fairly easy for the police.

Usually 2 Motorcycle Cops hiding halfway between Powers and Fountain on Aeroplaza Dr. Posted Speed is 30 even though no speed evaluations have ever been done on this road according to DOT Engineer. These cops will write tickets after ticket generatign alot of business for the courts and are NOT above lying in court to win their case. Judge takes the cops word on "visual estimate of speed" over radar if you challenge it in court.

Powers Boulevard near Woodman Road

On the new Powers overpass, during construction 2008, The posted speed is 40. Every couple of days there is a cop north &/or south bound at the end of the costruction site. You can safely go 55, but the limit is 40, So speeding is NOT recommended.
