Now they send you the tickets in the mail with an arial photo of your vehicle after being clocked by "Louisville Air One." Watch out for the white markings on the road! You may not seem them, but they see you!

Going up hill limit is 45mph, once on top of hill and around tight bend, limit drops to 25mph in less then a couple hundred feet. Officer parks behind bend and radars as you come out of bend and Before you pass sign, there is No Way you can slow quick enough without creating hazard for those behind you. Officer will argue that speed limit is when you See sign not as you pass.

Speedtraps are very common in Louisville and are a significant source of municipal revenue.

Two common locations are along W. South Boulder Rd. between McCaslin Blvd. and Washington Ave. One spot is on the north side of S. Boulder Rd. at Hays Dr. Another spot is on the south side of S. Boulder Rd. in the parking lots of the medical office buildings between Kennedy Ave. and Washington Ave.
