Thomaston, Connecticut Speed Traps

At the top of the long climb out of Thomaston, headed N. Bound on Rt 8 toward Torrington, State Trooper is now sitting in the divider at the ‘no u-turn’ interconnector.3 to 4 miles further North is the infamous ‘radar rock’ at the bottom of the hill; bad weather is making enforcement officers use the paved interconnector (by the old closed rest area) rather than the more lucrative radar rock.
