Camden, Delaware Speed Traps

Once you turn on to Moose Lodge rd (rt 15) heading south towards rt 10, there is a strech of woods about a half mile on the right. There is a lane that enters into the woods and troopers and local cops sit in the wooods unseen. You cannot see them untill it is too late to slow down. By the time you see them…they have you. If going north on Moose Lodge, the entrance is just past the Lodge and is on your left.

Camden police park along any of the parking lot entrances’. Mostly at the Sleepys parking lot entrance.

Everyone should know the state of Delaware is an entire speed trap. These folks just lay in wait to write tickets 24/7. Do not speed in DE or run red lights which are also bugged with cameras everywhere. One last thing. Do not donate any money to the police in Delaware. Just wait to get a speeding ticket instead. Hit them where it hurts. In donations to their causes. Have a nice day.

In front of Stokes Elementary School, the speed limit is reduced to 20 mph during certain times in the morning and afternoon when students are present. Please be sure to read the School Zone signs for the appropriate times.
