Normally in the mornings, a motorcycle cop and sometimes police car, will set up a speed trap in the shadows of the Meridian condo complex on the east side of the road. You cannot see them in the shadows of the buildings until around 11.

Lake Ida Rd. & Sunflower

This is located just east of the light on Barwick Road, at the entrance to Lake Forest South subdivision. Delray police sporadically set up by sitting back behind the island on Sunflower and shooting their radar at westbound traffic. They usually set up early in the morning and late in the afternoon, catching commuters. This isn’t all that bad, because the limit is only 35 MPH there, but some lunatics heading westbound easily reach speeds in excess of 55 by the time they approach Barwick, and there is a school crossing at Barwick and Lake Ida.

Congree Avenue near Linton Boulevard

Between the Congress Offramp and Linton BLVD. I live right off that road and can hear them all night, especially weekends. Pulled over myself for 57 in a 45 during the day. Lots of hiding spots.

State Highway Old Dixie near Lindell Boulevard

Cop car will park on east side of the highway in one of the driveways of the car dealerships. Car’s lights are off making it difficult though not impossible to detect ahead of time. Trap is located between Lindell Blvd and Linton Blvd

Lake Ida Road near Delray Lakes Drive

Only done occasionally, maybe once or twice every two months or so. Generally 3 or more police cruisers parked in the exit side of the Delray Lakes Community (just east of I-95, bordered by low gray walls). Hard to spot from a distance from either direction, because of wall and curve of road from east and I-95 from the west. Speed limit is 35 but this is a hold-over from when Lake Ida was one lane each way (now 2 each) so it is easy to speed, especially since this stretch is relatively straight and the turns leading to it are wide.
