Deltona, Florida Speed Traps
Merrimac Street near Falmouth Street
Sometimes the patrol car just pulls off to the side of the road and waits. They also drive around and wait on the small side streets. I see cars pulled over several times a month just passed the intersection of Merrimac and Falmouth. There is a definite problem with speeding on this street, especially through the curves._
Haulover Boulevard near Lake Helen Osteen Road
They post up all along this road, usually during rush hour traffic or mid day, but I have seen them at all times of day and night. Usually its one officer hiding in the bushes with Radar while the rest wait further down the street waiting on a radio call. They will pull you for 5mph over on this road and the speed limit is 30mph. Do not speed on this road.
US Highway I-4 Eastbound near Exit Number 108
Usually patroled by air. 3 sets of timing lines about 1 mile before Exit 108. Strech of highway is posted @ 65 MPH and is strictly enforced. Troopers will sit just past Exit 108 which is just above a hill.
Courtland Boulevard near Fort Smith Boulevard
Patrol and/or motorcycle units position themselves at the public park entrance (Fort Smith side) and issue tickets to vehicles traveling Courtland Blvd. between Fort Smith and Doyle Roads.
Cloverleaf Boulevard near Deltona Boulevard
One or two motorcycle officers, usually on left side of road under a shade tree, in the curve, within a few blocks after turning onto Cloverleaf Boulevard from Deltona Boulevard.
