Deltona, Florida Speed Traps
FT SMITH JUST PAST COURTLAND NEAR FIRE STATION
THEY ARE CATCHING CARS THAT DO NOT STOP FOR THE PEDESTRIAN (COP) IN THE CROSSWALK..STOP AND WAIT TILL HE IS ALL THE WAY ACROSS OR YOU WILL GET CITED
Elkam and Trinity Church/School
They sit out there on Motorcycles each day. They clock you at corner where posted limit is 30mph (because of curves); yet straightaway speed limit is 35mph. Also a small School zone is posted at 15mph that most people miss.
Doyle/Dirksen Rd.
Volusia County officers park in the Park and Ride, right at I4 Exit 108, and than stand behind a tree shooting radar towards US 17-92. Speed limit drops to 35 mph right before the Burger King until you pass Deltona Blvd.
Corner of Cloverleaf Blvd and Anderson Dr.
Motorcycle cops are usually clocking people as they pass the last hill on Coverleaf (right before you pass the swamp area on the left on the corner of Anderson Dr.) The speed limit is 3o mph. The gate and bushes on the Twin lakes community also makes it very hard to even notice them until its too late.
