Fort Lauderdale, Florida Speed Traps

There are usually two cops sitting under the overpass shooting traffic in both directions on 441/SR 7. Sometimes they have one on overpass above 441/SR7 with a radar gun shooting traffic below.

When you get off 595 at the SR84 exit going east, the speed limit is 55 but quickly goes down to 45. After you go over the bridge, they await at the bottom on the right side, just before you get to the I-95 overpass.

There is a no right turn sign posted. There is a state trooper there in the afternoons about 3 p.m. several times a week with cars lined up for making a right turn beware!!!

Trooper line up in their cars on the north and south on-ramps for I-95, while one Trooper is parked in the middle of the over pass above. He clocks you at a distance as you’re coming up to the overpass and radios the cruisers lined up to intercept.

Just west of the 441overpass on MANY mornings there are motorcycle cops with radar just waiting for you to come over the overpass.
