Jupiter, Florida Speed Traps

Motorcycle cop sits in the shade of the Citgo Station sign 8-9 am weekday mornings

These speed traps have been set up several times this pass week with multiple motorcycles and cars at this location with Officers walking out into the highway and pulling over speeding cars to the side of the road as well as chasing them down with motorbikes and cruisers. Targeting the Northbound traffic mostly but are also hitting southbound as well.

Motorcycle cops hide in what would be entrances to the Scripp’s campus on the north side of Donald Ross Road, likely to catch traffic going west, but drivers going east are also in the line of sight. I have only seen the trap run in the drive time morning.

Motorcycle officer hides in the bushes with his radar gun. He must walk out to stop the car. I have seen him in the same location 3 days in a row.
