Between the Buzzard Beach Boat Ramp and over the hill at Harborside Rest. City cops often hide at Boat club entrance, or across from ramp in an Unmarked, Red, Dodge Charger. They stay quite busy from these two vantage points.

State Route 27 near Florida Turnpike North on Ramp
They had about 10 Florida Highway Patrol Officers lined up on the shoulder of both sides of Rt. 27 in Leesburg FL (near the turnpike.) They also had a airplane in the sky catching the people speeding. This happened to me on May 23th 2007 I was going 72 in a 55mph zone.
US Highway 27 near Exit Number 285
FHP sits in the bushes on HWY 27 near the entrance to the FL Turnpike right at the bottom of the hill about 1/4 mile from the entrance to the Turnpike. FHP loves to sit there and pull people over as they are going down the hill.
