Officers(Metro-Dade, Miami Lakes dept.) will raise the hood of their cars in order to conceal appearance of police car to passing motorists. They will park their cars in front of residences instead of empty lot across the street. Shady practices in general and ignore local resident complaints.

State trooper parks his patrol car, usually a Camaro, on the emergency lane, opens the trunk and sits in it, shooting laser. Since the lid’s open, drivers can’t see the overhead blue lightbar. When the trooper clocks a vehicle, he jumps out of the trunk and stops it.
