Right past the East Drive light on the right when traveling east towards LeJeune on S. Royal Poinciana Blvd. Especially during school hours, but at other times too.
NW 36th Street near South Drive
Going westbound on nw 36 st. across from airport
Curtiss Parkway near From NW 36 Street to Okeechobee
Curtiss Parkway is a 4-lane divide highway with a wide median and a 30 mph speed limit. Police set their trap anywhere in this stretch of road but most often halfway through, and at the entrance to the circle loacted at the north end of the road. The entire Miami Springs has been a speedtrap town for many years where officers are required to account to the city the fine revenue they bring in at traffic court.
Curtiss Parkway Northbound
Usually manned by 2 motorcycle officers parked behind the hedge on the corner by the Fairhaven retirement home in the 200 block; Northbound. If you get stopped…you get a ticket. They usually 15mph over the 30mph posted speed limit.
