Oldsmar, Florida Speed Traps
Shore Dr E
This is a posted 25mph….it is very difficult to go 25 or less for over a mile and a half…..the whole length of the road. The cops love to hide in peoples driveways, parks, any little hole they can find. There aren’t little children out playing on this street…it is the only way in and out therefore very busy….give us a break 35 is not too fast here. Go patrol Tampa road where the real speeders are.
RaceTrack Road
Headed in the north or south direction between South Mobley Ave and the 7-11 on Race Track Road. I have seen Sheriffs cars using Radar in both the morning traffic 7am ish and the afternoon traffic 3pm on. I personally got a ticket there and was pulled over as I turned onto South Mobley, I was headed north on Race Track. The Sheriffs Usually sit in the new houses and apartments area (across the street from Water Chase), but I have also seen them in some ranch entrances as well.
State Route 580
Be careful along this stretch of State Route 580; it is patrolled regularly, and the speed limit is strictly enforced!
Tampa Road 584 Road near Caliber Downs Lane
Pinellas County Deputy Sheriff hiding in dark entrance to Canal Park in Oldsmar.
Forest Lakes Boulevard near Tampa Road
Forest Lakes goes from 45 to 35 just north Of Tampa Road, and the cops are there, usually standing on the roadside with laser in hand. Be Careful, if you like to keep your money in your wallet.
