East Graves Ave.

Orange City, FloridaJul 01, 20101 Comments

As you come into Orange City on E Graves the speed limit drops from 45MPH, to 40MPH and then to 30MPH as you come up a small hill. You had better be doing 30MPH when you come to that sign. The police stand at the edge of the street with a radar gun as you approach the lower speed limit. They will get you ! !

Main Wal-Mart Exit

Come to a COMPLETE stop when exiting. Especially at night when it is not busy. The cops watch you from about a half mile down Harley Strictland. Normally, When it is busy (daytime) you could wait up to 5 minutes to exit left so when you come down the hill from the parking lot and see a gap you want to grab it. It amazes me that they don’t have a light there. They will also clock your speed before they stop you on Saxon Blvd. $153.00 Fine + points.

The Orange City Police Department are VERY harsh. It doesn’t matter where you are driving. They are very serious when it comes to the speed limit. I’ve been pulled over for going 33, in a 30 zone.

Blue Spring Avenue near US Highway 17-92

There is a cop patrolling Blue Spring Avenue at all times. They go from one end of the road until the other. Their main thing is to bust people running a stop sign that pops up out of nowhere. Look out!
