Going NORTH on I75 just past that bushy area but before exit 205 (Clark Rd.). At least TWO state troopers are always sitting there! They are looking for speeders going north and sometimes south.

Cops stand outside the dealership and radar cars

The police officers, and frequently wolf packs including motorcycle cops and unmarked vehicles (all they are missing are horseback) frequently sit in the median of Webber Road between Tuttle Road and Beneva Road, various times of the day, facing one or both directions, East and West. Posted speed limit is 35, easy to go well over that speed, particularly at low traffic times, and the officers are frequently not in view because of the many trees in the median etc.

I have only had two speeding tickets in sarasota in 15 years and Both were at this intersection of 17th and tuttle. One was a motorcycle cop and the other was a police car, both sat in residential driveways waiting for me. Look Out!
