McIntosh Road near Bahia Vista Street
Most commonly once you have come over the bridge heading south on Mc Intosh Rd and pass through Bahia Vista. Drivers tend to speed up because the road narrow to one. They sit in the entrance of The Lakes and Tamaron Subdivisions.
Siesta Drive near State Highway 301
When driving westbound on Siesta Drive, there is usually a deputy sitting at the end or downside of the bridge. They seem to catch driver as they pick up speed as the come down off the bridge, which is impossible to avoid unless you ride your brakes all the way down. Be Careful! Slamming on your brakes is a sure way to get attention if you’re over the speed limit.
Washington Boulevard near 10th Street
East side of road, targeting north bound traffic, just before train tracks. Multiple cruisers and cop bikes.
St. Armands Circle
All roads leading into and out of St. Armands Circle are fair game for revenue raisers. This area is populated by many well-heeled tourists and snowbirds who are easy targets for the trappers.
McIntosh Road near Bahia Vista Street
On McIntosh headed northbound just south of Bahia Vista St. at the entrance to the Lakes subdivision. There is one cop on the sidewalk with his radar on a tripod checking speeds (35 mph). His buddies wait unseen behind the sign to the neighborhood until the radar guy radios them and boom they come out of nowhere and pull you over.
