There is a cop 24/7 waiting in an unmarked car for you whether you are breaking the law or not you will get a ticket… The next one I get for not breaking the law I will come out shooting… so be aware cops…. yeah dirty coppers..

There are always several police cars from local to state to Highway patrol on this stretch of 341… they will pull you over for any infraction. Watch for seat belts, lights and speeding. They overstock every few weeks or so and they look for everything.

Red Light Camera Enforcement. Short yelllow lights. Received citation, light turned red while in intersection and they mailed me a citation. $70.00

Northbound on US 17 just past the Jekyll Causeway over the Lanier Ship Channel Bridge. Speed Limit is 50 and traffic, much of it just off Interstate 95 has a broad, wide open stretch of 4 lane road. Get to the top of the bridge and there is a tendency to maintain highway speed or increase speed going down the bridge (the only "hill" within many miles). Welcome to the Golden Isles as the Brunswick Police Department and the GHP frequently sit at the base of the bridge or just up the road behind bushes with radar. Not sure of the grace speed but they are often very busy. Make sure your insurance and registration cards are handy too.

Speed limit is reduced from 70-55. Right as the limit is reduced (traveling southbound) you come around a corner and an officer is taking your picture from the exit overpass while the rest of the force is waiting on the southbound on ramp to grab you
