Speed limit is 35 in front of the college, then you immediately travel over a steep bridge headed out of the city where the speed limit is 35 going down the steep bridge. unless you put your foot on the brake there is no way u can travel 35 mph! The city police sit at the bottom of the bridge off to the right waiting to write citations for this area! It’s definitely a speed trap that needs a traffic engineering schedule looked at, especially when the speed limit sign coming into town says 45 and coming down the steep downgrade is 35 mph!

from east to west on Cook Rd . they get you on a down grade before you get to the college. You can”t see them for the residents trees and scrubs. It”s illegal because you are on a down grade and can”t see them for the plants. Speed limit is 35 mph . My vehicle will do 42 mph on that hill with no foot on the gas.

they like to work the bridge by the college and any place on hwy’s 87 or 26. Use makred and unmarked crown vics, taho’s and intrepide. Officers very rude.
