they like to work the bridge by the college and any place on hwy’s 87 or 26. Use makred and unmarked crown vics, taho’s and intrepide. Officers very rude.

for myself & my hubby , we have never witnessed any speeders on this area. we have all the sings telling us what the speed is & we know the college is just over the bridge where the speed does drop down. so of course before you every get to the bridge , you start to slow down due to the fact the the speed change drops very fast in this area. i find that they have more roed blocks their right before the bridge than they do speed trips. why all the road blocks there all the time, sure is a hot spot for that.
Yes, they are slick. The speed limit drops rapidly; very hard to keep under the limit. From now on I plan to spend zippo in Cochran and will take the bypass around the town. These folks will be keenly aware of the sound of wallets slamming shut if enough people will quit spending time and money in the town. The cop was a bit of a wiseguy also - first speeding ticket I've had in 30+ years.
