Deal Street near State Highway 196
The solid black Hinesville Patrol car with blue lights on top sits between PJ’s automotive shop and Down’s limber. This car blends in with the vehicles parked at PJ’s. The speed limit is 25 miles per hour which is way to slow for this road. This officer will stop you and never gives a warning.
15th Street near City Limits
Hinesville Cops are now setting up speedtraps along 15th street extension. Speed limit is 45mph which is too slow on this road. Police are stopping people for anything over speedlimit. Watch out for police cars with no lights on top they are the hardest to spot leaving little time to slow down before getting caught speeding. Police are hiding on the side of the road at night and you cant slow down to keep from getting a speeding ticket.
McDowell Road near State Highway 196

State Highway 119 near Shell Station
Hinesville Police set up a trap on Hwy 119 (Airport Road). When heading south on 119 right after you pass the Shell Station on your right the cop sits on the grass to your left on a curve making it a very effective hiding spot. Speed limit is 45, never a good idea to speed on this highway as the State Patrol Post and the Liberty County Jail are also on this stretch of road. So even if Hinesville isnt out raking in the cash there is a good chance you will pass a Sheriff or a State Trooper heading to or from their office!
