Leaving Jonesboro proper headed south on Lake Jodeco Rd you come around a blinding curve. Note the speed limit is 35mph. You have tendency to speed around that curve and sitting on your left is the Jonesboro police parked in the school parking lot. Needless to say the ticket is $173.00 for doing 50mph in a 35mph.

College Street Street near State Route Off of route 54 towards Main Street
This street runs past the Baptist and Methodist Churches between Rt. 54 andd Main Street. The posted speed limit is 25 MPH and the Jonesboro Police sit just over the rise towards Main Street at the Baptist Church. They will pull you over for 26 MPH.
N. Main Street near Mundy’s Mill Road
Anywhere down this road… from the point where Mundy’s Mill meets Main on to the downtown train depot. The speed limit goes from 45 to 35. So speedtraps are hot here.
US Highway 19/41 near State Highway 54
Traffic going northbound on 19/41 (Tara Blvd) will go from a 55 mph to a 45 mph limit. Most traffic usually travels at 65 to 70 mph which is usually no problem. Just be sure to slow it down when the speed limit changes. The Jonesboro Police are watching you. Stay under ten over.
