State Troopers and the local Sheriff’s Department constantly patrol this area. As soon as you reach the Candler County line, especially near the McDonald’s exit, please slow down. Traffic tickets are quadrupled the normal rate. I know of someone speeding, and had to pay a $1,000 fine. Please slow down in Candler County. Especially if you are on your way to Atlanta or Savannah.

Exit 104 Off of I-16
Officers clocking from overpass. I was clocked at 88 in a 70 MPH zone, and my fine was $382!!! Slow down in Candler County!
