Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Speed Traps
Prairie & Hayden Aves between US 95 & Idaho 41
Speed limit is set far too low on these roads. Limits include 35-45 mph, but traffic generally flows at least 55-60mph. Idaho State Police like to patrol Prairie Avenue in this section.
Limits have decreased from 50 to 40mph in just a few years, while the amount of traffic and residential areas has remained virtually unchanged.
Particularly watch out for police waiting around the intersections of Hayden and Atlas, as well as Prairie and Atlas

I-90 right after state line there are 3 traps. All overpasses have them off and on. They park behind the middle support of the overpass and use radar . They have been taking advantage of the construction there at night. The reduced speed limit is enforced even though there is no work going on during the day.
