Officer parks behind a bunch of shrubs and trees shooting K band at Both lanes of traffic. He hides at the end of Teckler on the northbound side of the road, near the virgina Rd intersection. I witnessed an officer busting someone within 2 minutes of his arrival. Speed limit is 30. This is behind the Roller Rink, for reference. It is very hard to see the Officer.

McHenry Avenue near Dartmoor Road

An officer parks in the northern edge the Strip mall parking lot, usually facing north and checking southbound traffic, usually by using K-band radar. Most of the time it is constant on, but others it’s instant on, depending on traffic. They also sit in the Church parking lot across the street facing similar directions. Speed limit is 30. They are hard to see and use the Trees as cover, their lights are always off. Mostly an evening/nightime operation. Be aware.

Apparently the CLPD have set up a fairly well concealed remote laser marking the southbound lane as you travel under the Rt.14 viaduct. Information is transmitted to the awaiting cruisers parked at the corner of 31 and Three Oaks Road. I witnessed four vehicles being issued citations (including myself) within 20 minutes.
