On the Bridge headed into Illinois and after the bridge ends
The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office likes to sit on the shoulder of the Bridge headed into Alexander County from Missouri and right after the Bridge ends they sit off to the right pull off area looking to get anyone who goes over the 45 Speed Limit. They are always there and use Unmarked 2015 Black Dodge chargers so they blend in during the night time I see them sitting there every night there either on the bridge sitting on the shoulder. Or on the side of the road after the bridge ends hidden with there lights off waiting for someone to go over 45. They make a lot of stops every night make sure to slow down anytime you drive through there.
Along Hwy 146 anywhere in town
This stretch of Hwy 146 through East Cape is heavily patrolled esp at night. Police will most often sit just east of the Emerson Bridge on the IL side or in the median just west of The Pony. Posted speed is 45 MPH no leeway is given if you are pulled over. Both ISP and Alexander County are often radaring here.
