Homer Glen, Illinois Speed Traps

Sits at bottom of small hill on side street. 0530 to 0600 AM

Traveling northbond from illinois/blomington road, going into s-turn unmarked car usualy parked in driveway going into s-turn. speed limit drops from 45mph south ofillinois/bloominton road to 35 mph down to 15 mph for s-turn. there am rush hour & evening rush hour.

167th street anywhere between South Bell and Parker. Speed limit is 30 even though this is a remote area with hills that allow you to coast over the limit.

Police car sits just off the street at Pine Hills Road and 167th Street catching cars that came over the hill heading West. Speed limit is only 35.

North of Chicago/Bloomington Road about 3/4 of a mile on Parker Road there is a sharp 90 degree left turn. The posted speed leading up to this turn is 30 mph. Just before the curve it is lowered to 15 mph. A Will County squad car will sit at the curve facing South and clock the on coming northbound cars. The car is backed in among the trees and is very hard to see until it is almost too late.
