Lebanon, Illinois Speed Traps
North of Lebanon on Rt. 4
New apartments have been constucted North of Lebanon on the East side of Rt. 4. It is VERY common to see cops sitting next to the new storage unit on this relatively new street catching people accelerating to the 55 MPH zone North of town. There is also a church partking lot on the West side of the road (still north of town) that cops also sit in. There are constantly people pulled over near the speed zone in this area.
It is a trap due to the fact that when driving North from Lebanon you drive up a slight grade and are unable to see the cops before they see you.
