Madison Street near 5th Street
The cop sits in his squad car next to the tiny house on the street between 4th & 5th. It’s right by a stop sign so he’s probably looking for people not coming to a complete stop. Sometimes it’s just an empty car but you never know.
State Street near 2nd Street
On State St / Route 171 sometimes a cop will sit in the parking lot of the Stamp Thyme store at the intersection of 2nd & State. The speed limit is 30 or 35 but people just fly.
Bruce Road near Farrel Road
In the parking lot of Lambs woods forest preserve. Across from the K9 training facility. It is rare thatt I do not see a cop there. sometimes two of them.
High Road near State Street Route 171
Lockport police sit at High Rd. in shopping ctr. Speed limit drops from 45 to 35 at Northern (George’ Restaurant) Most of the stops made southbound are at night. Most northbound stops are made during the day. Do not speed in this area. I have lived at New Ave. for 16 years and you will be stopped. Within 3 blocks the limit drops again to 25 mph. Unless you want a ticket, do not speed in Lockport.

Every night from Midnight to 4:00 a.m. Most common locations are at the Speedway or Super Wash or on a side street near the library.
