47th Street near Pulaski Avenue
Officers often sit on the new side-streets in the developing field where Reynolds used to be (south half of 47th) to try to catch speeders going down 47th Street. Usually there will be one across the street from Pulaski Avenue in Lyons or across the street from Custer Avenue/Forest Avenue in Brookfield, just a few blocks west of Pulaski.
State Highway 171 near Plainfield Road
Car sets up in SW corner (not readily visible)of storage unit company parking lot at night with lights off facing NE to nab vehicles going southbound on 171 after the Plainfield Road stop light and before frontage road stop light. Speed limit is 35 and increases to an almost unenforcable 50 MPH immmediately after fr. rd. light on about a 1 mile stretch of bridges crossing 47th Street, Joliet Road, the Des Plaines River, and I-55.
Joliet Road near Harlem Road
On Joliet Rd, Between Harlem and Center Drive there is a forest preserve, the squad parks in the entrance to the forest preserve at night wich is hidden by the trees untill your right on them, speed is 40mph they will allow 45mph.
Ogden Avenue
A section of Ogden Ave.,between the Des Plaines River and the quarry,the speed limit is 25. You could go 30, stay in the right lane, watch other zip by, and get tickets.
US Highway 34 near Lawndale Avenue
Watch for line of squad cars facing west on ogden
