Mount Prospect, Illinois Speed Traps

When heading north on Elmhurst, the police like to sit on a cross street called Hiawatha. It is the 3rd street north of Golf rd. They sit on both sides of Elmhurst, sometimes 2 or 3 squad cars at a time.

As you drive west on Lincoln street you will cross over Busse road. As soon as you cross over Busse cops will sit on almost every cross road from there to the end of Lincoln st. On my way to work in the morning Ive seen them there almost twice a week for a couple of months now. Watch it!

During rush hour cops sit at the intersection of Lancaster st. and Central road. They sit up and down the north side of Central on the side streets. This area is easy to speed in so watch it!

Near and on all sides of the Metra train station, there are police on foot (for seat belt infraction) and on radar.

Police site facing East on Golf Road in the new Armenian Church parking lot. Another one sits facing West near the Dominicks on Golf Road. Sometimes there are unmarked cars and you can barely see them early in the morning.
