Driving S on Rte 45 (mostly in the early mornings), there is often a squad in the parking lot behind the realtor S of 176 trying to tag people during the transition from the 45 mph zone to the 30 mph zone.

Driving N on Rte 45 (mostly in the afternoons), there is often a squad parked in the entrance to the state controlled area of the RR tracks on the E side of 45. While driving, the cars remain concealed my trees and brush until you have passed them, but by then its too late.

Going north on 45 just after you cross 176, on your right OR left hand side you will most likely see a cop. SO just after you pass Grandma V’s Pancake House, on the corner of Lyndale and 45 a cop is usually parked, or they are sitting across the street on your right in a vacant lot. The speed limit is 30, so make sure that is what you are going by the time you reach 176.

Traveling south on Rte. 45 just past Diamond Lake Road the cops sit in the parking lot right next to the Dairy Queen.
Speed limit is 30mph. but goes up to 35mph. about two blocks further on.

Traveling down IL. RT 83 towards Hicks Rd/53S.
Theres a few of them sitting on a small drive way
on the right side , right past the new developments before Gilmer. Speed Limit is 45 , But people tend to fly down there.
