Residential street that is a weel-known short-cut that shaves almost two miles off the trip. Squad usually sits in private driveway just south of 126.

Caton Farm Rd Between Rt 59 and Essington Rd

Often there will be one squad car parked on Bronk Road which you pass by, once you’re over the I55 overpass there will be at least 5 more squad cars ready to pull you over. Speed limit is extremely low considering this area is 2 lanes in each direction.

Drauden Road in 30 mph zone south of Caton Farm

30 mph is now very strictly enforced, as advertised by speed limit signs with red flags. Be aware, there is no way out of this ticket as the signs are well posted and visible. Unmarked black or green Plainfield cars of the Impala and Corwn Vic types lurk in clumps of trees and farm driveways on the west side of the road. County unmarked black Crown Vics lie on the east and west sides, just across from the Fond du Lac subdivision on the east side of Drauden Road. They lie in courts and behind neighborhood signs well hidden by trees. The 30 mph zone lasts only for a few blocks. It is wisest to slow according to the painstakingly placed speed signs and not risk being stopped. I live on this road and have seen many speed enforcement efforts fall flat; this one is watertight and officers are directed by the Joliet P.D. to have no pity.
