US Highway 173 near Hermon Avenue
Cops will sit in the parking lot of the church at Herman Ave. and 173 taking radar on the cars heading east bound. The visibility of the cop is restricted by the church. Don’t do more than 5 over.
Delaney Road near State Highway 173
Delaney north of Il 173 and south of State Line(Russell Rd)
They usually sit at 9th St. Latley They have been sitting in the drive way just north of Richards on west side
Sheridan Road near 33rd Street
Zion PD usually has a squad sitting next to the Century 21 building, visibility of the officer is obscured from either direction due to the hill of Ophir park (southbound Sheridan rd.) or the Century 21 building itself (northbound Sheridan rd)
Sheridan Road near Shiloh Boulevard
Be careful if you have a radar detector or scrambler…the doors at the Dollar Store set the devices off, so people tend to speed past without giving a second thought. Usually a cop sits in the back of the parking lot to use his radar because he knows that the guys with the detectors think it’s the store doors setting them off.
