Pratt, Kansas Speed Traps

Just as you come into Pratt County past a place called the Wash Out. Officers sit about half way down the hill just before RR tracks.

Coming into Pratt from the west on Hi-way 400 is a small hill speed limit decease’s from 65 to 45 with little warning, on the back of this hill is a school crossing 20 MPH on a school day a officer will be there , is a 250.00 ticket. Don’t show emotion or argue it gets worse, cops are not public servants, and very rude.

30mph speed limit and if you’re from out of town they cut no slack. Should be 45mph.

Speed limit slows way down way south of bridge and hard to see. Little officer with BIG gun sits by the coop and write tickets. Has severe case of small man with power attitude for out of town people. I know of 3 others getting tickets the same day as mine. One was my brother. We were on our way to see our mother in Pratts resthome.
