Roeland Park, Kansas Speed Traps

Roeland Park Police will sit on the county line on the Kansas City Kansas side where the speed limit changes from 35 to 45 where there is a missing speed limit sign showing it changes to 45. This is an illegal speed trap the city officials know about it. The sign was placed and they removed it so they could continue to collect revenue from unsuspecting drivers. If you get a ticket here fight it by contacting KDOT. They will verify the sign is missing.

Roeland Park PD runs moderate speed enforcement on Roe between I-35 and Johnson Dr. They tend to sit in the Osco parking lot or the valley state bank lot, blacked out. Speed limit in this area is 35, be careful.
