Stockton, Kansas Speed Traps

City cop sets there on a regular basis especially in AM and close to 5 pm. as well as after school. Likes to keep a close watch on Southbound traffic coming off the hill on north side of town. Speed limit also drops from 35 to 25 just north of Stockton National Bank.

On Highway 24 driving east into the west end of town the speed limit is 65 M.P.H. As you drive into town from the west, if you’re not paying attention, the speed limit drops from 65 to 35 M.P.H. If you are driving above the speed limit, and you see the high school football stadium located on the north side of 24 it’s too late. F.Y.I. Better have your proof of insurance card or they’ll assume you don’t have insurance and cite you for this as well. And why you are instructed by the city police to call the phone number on the back the next day @ 4 p., I’ll never know.
