Corbin, KentuckyFeb 26, 20110 Comments

On the weekends a cop sits at the church on HWY 25 just about half a mile from the light where 25 splits east and west. He tend to follow people leaving Corbin that are going to London. If you are going North he will be on your right.

US 25E in front of applebees and movies

Corbin, KentuckyFeb 26, 20110 Comments

On the weekends at night a cops sits across the street from Applebees and follows people going towards downtown, He followed me all the way to the main street light then turned around. He always goes back to his posted spot which is the drive way to some office building. Be weary if you are on that street on the weekends at night. I think its a Knox County Deputy

I-75 between Corbin and Williamsburg

This is yet another fake construction zone. Work has been over for months, but still a few orange barrels and some silt fencing around drop boxes in median. About 12 miles of "construction zone" with posted limit at 55 mph, double fines.

Hwy 26/S. Main Street from the bypass out toward Woodbine

Corbin, KentuckyApr 02, 20100 Comments

Apparently, there is a 45 MPH speed limit sign beyond the turn off at Woodbine and not another one until well into town on Main street, and traffic from Woodbine doesn’t see the sign. I have seen Corbin police sitting just over the hill, between the bypass bridge and the turn up onto the bypass, on the right shoulder, to catch speeders coming from the Woodbine direction into town. Not really fair, as there is no signage on that stretch of road, but I know of people who have been ticketed there recently.
