Dry Prong, Louisiana Speed Traps

The crown vic is now white.

Town of Dry Prong (pop. approx 300) is a notorious speed trap. Speed limit through town is 35 mph. Watch out for a black unmarked Crown Vic sitting near the edge of town. Somebody told me that they also have a marked unit but I don’t know that for a fact. Tickets are $105. As usual with these small Louisiana towns, they don’t cut any slack to anybody for any reason. Dry Prong was on a list of towns in the local paper that had bad speed traps and it said that they get a large percentage of their income from it (above 80% if my memory serves me correctly)
