US Highway Route 40 near US Highway Route 24
About a mile away from Abingdon Road when driving towards Edgewood, police officers like to sit at the top of a hill. You have to speed up-hill, as soon as you go over-top the hill, you see the police officer sitting at the top of hill, approximately a quarter-mile away.
US Highway Route 40 near Route 543 Loop
When driving on Route 40 from Edgewood, there used to be a Texaco Gas Station, which has since became a tattoo place. A police officer in a maroon ford likes to sit there and reel a few fish in. Everytime I see this car, he always has someone nabbed. I, personally, have seen three cars at once.
Laurel Bush Road near Rhododendron Drive
In side street at bottom of the hill, usually monitoring eastbound traffic, but sometimes westbound, ecpecially if traffic is light.
State Route 543 near South of Goat Hill Road
A Sheriff’s Deputy will sit in the pulloff on the left, around the curve just south of Goat Hill Road. It’s intermittent enforcement,and they will start at 4:30 AM!
State Highway 24 East near Ring Factory Road
When you pass Ring Factory Road the State troops sit at the top of the hill below a little crest and hit you with Radar before you can see them. It is usually 2 or more troopers and they will sit there for as long as 6-8 hours usually starting in the am and going to early evening 3-4pm.
