Burlington, Massachusetts Speed Traps

Watch out in the center of town. At night, expect them to hide in the parking lots of businesses and in particular, gas stations. In addition to the fact that the enforcement of speed laws is draconian, a quick survey of a few friends who routinely travel the area and my own personal experience is that other than the Massachusetts State Police, Burlington police are the only ones with the audacity to routinely and often unconstitutionally search motor vehicles. If you have travel through town, use the highway, and if you have to go somewhere in Burlington, watch your back.
