East Bridgewater, Massachusetts Speed Traps
122 Oak St. ( E.B. end of Rt. 14, near Wash. St.)
East Bridgewater P.D. SUV cruiser sits in front of 122 Oak Street IN East Bridgewater. He / She shoots radar easterly on 14 and into Hanson area. They are grabbing cars going WEST on Oak St. (Rt. 14). Speed in Hanson is 40; 20 MPH as soon as you hit East Bridgewater. Be careful heading INTO East Bridgewater and travelling WEST toward Washington Street (cross street). When you come upon the curve, better be going 20 MPH. I have noticed most activity on any day (8-4 / Day Shift).
37 Oak Street, East Bridgewater
East Bridgewater Police SUV is parked just WEST of 37 Oak Street driveway IN East Bridgewater. The unit shoots EAST and catches speeders travelling west bound and from Hanson, MA. The speed limit drops from 40 MPH to 25 MPH. When travelling from Hanson, slow BEFORE the curve. The unit will be just up further on the LEFT and past driveway for 37 Oak St. This enforcement is usually on the 8-4 shift.
Across from 89 Thatcher Street
There is a small paved area just across from 89 Thatcher Street in E. Bridgewater. The unit sits and faces SOUTH (toward E. Bridgewater). You cannot see the cruiser because this small paved area allows the unit to sit parallel to the paved road and far enough into foliage. It is thirty feet BEYOND “RIGHT TO FARM” sign.
Access road to high power lines (479 Washington Street)
Usually 8-4 shift. Marked cruiser on either side of Washington street and BACKED into those dirt access roads (gates are open). More likely to be on “your” RIGHT side when heading SOUTH on Wash. Street.
Cumberland Farms @ Washington and Central Streets
“Subdued MARKED” unit sits in front of dumpster IN Cumby’s parking lot. It is just past mail box and across from 1052 Washington St. Travelling SOUTH on Washington St., the limit goes from 40 to 25 just before a PRIVATE WAY that has houses numbered “1015-1025”. This is the point that it is too late. Most likely to be grabbed in AM, but units spotted on 4-midnight shift.
