Pond Street near Oak Street
Police will sit in the Kennedy School parking lot watching traffic from both directions. Enforcement will increase as the opening of school grows closer.
State Route 140 near Garelick Farms
The cruisers will sit at the entrance to Garelick Farms and near the T-Station and they use RADAR and LIDAR. Very strict and almost always write the $$$$$$ citation.
King Street near Near Clairmont Condos
Beware of this stretch of King St.; the cruisers (yes, they May use more than one !) are often parked in one of the entrance/exit ways to the condo complex. The are not easy to see, especially in the dark. Often times, the police will have one unit right at the condos, while a 2nd car is parked somewhere further up or down the street – it is the Worst Speed Trap I know of Anywhere in the area.
Forest Street
Police often hide on the side streets off of Forest St. The 30 MPH speed limit is not authorized, nor is any speed limit authorized by MassHighway per a letter I recieved from the MassHighway Commissioner.
