End of Uptack rd at Washington St
Coming up over the hill on Uptack Rd heading towards Washington St. Speed limit is 25 apparently even though it is a long straight road heading downhill. They hide in the dirt parking lot for the nature trail on the north side of the road
Rt. 97 across the street from Pub 97
They sit in their cruiser in a lot next to Valley tree service especially in the afternoon when the traffic is heavy coming off Rt 95 through Georgetown into Groveland. Rest assured you will be stopped (and possibly cuffed & stuffed) for the most minor infraction. I think the police pension fund is funded from this location alone.
Route 97 near Groveland Electric Light Dept
A crusier is parked in or outside the Groveland Electric Light Department parking lot. They can view the cars heading south on 97 where the speed limit is still 25 MPH before it hits 40 and also see the cars heading north on 97 down the hill as the limit drops from 40 to 25.
Route 97, Going South, Just after crossing Groveland Bridge
The cops will sit in either the plumber’s parking lot or the Subway parking lot on the right hand side just after crossing the bridge. Set your cruise control as soon as you can after entering town!!
Route 97, at the Christmas Tree Farm
Groveland’s finest will park either in the small driveway on the right as you go south, or behind the fence across the street where Merrit ave comes in on the left. I drive this every day and there is always someone pulled over.
