Sobriety Checkpoints are often held in the DPW parking lot located at the intersection of Rte. 53 and Mill Street. They stop every car passing through and based on your responses to a series of questions, either let you pass or require you to pull in to complete a series of field sobriety tests. There were approximately 40-50 police officers on site.
