Jamaica Way Rt 9 – A total speed trap at night

Jamaica Plain, MassachusettsFeb 05, 20130 Comments

The speed limit is 30 miles per hour and I was going 39, the state trooper (On his late 40’s, short hair and tan skin) followed me for 30 seconds approx and I was aware of that so I reduced the speed limit to 33mph, then he gave me a ticket for speeding. He was really rude. On the ticket he wrote 40MPH.

There is always a State Trooper on the right side. Today he was parked on the left on the grass under a tree in an unmarked car pointing towards the bridge……

Jamaica Way near Between Perkins St. and Pond

Jamaica Plain, MassachusettsJan 04, 20070 Comments

Boston Police Officer stationed on the Jamaicaway Outbounds (heading southwards, away from Boston, towards JP/Roslindale/West Roxbury), on right side of JWAY midway between the lights at Perkins St. and Pond St. He parks his cruiser on the grass next to the roadway and literally stands himself in the middle of the right lane and waits to pull someone over. He does not use any speed equipment as far as I can tell, but could be using something in his vehicle to reference.
