Malden, Massachusetts Speed Traps

Along Commercial Street, the speed limit is 35. It runs between Pleasant St. and Wellington Station. The local law enforcement hide out across from Piantedosi Bakery. It is primarily an industrial area, with little pedestrian traffic. The road is flat and straight, and it is easy to go faster than the posted speed limit. The cops have cover from their location, and I’ve seen others caught in the same spot after my ticket. Beware, and take care!

One or two motorcycle cops park in front of the cemetary across the street from Amerige Park. The 25mph speed limit is ridiculously low and people generally go 10 – 15mph faster. The cops pull cars over 3 and 4 at a time.
